''Darwinia micropetala'', commonly known as Small Darwinia, is a small shrub that is native to south-eastern Australia. It grows to 0.5 metres high and has small leaves and clusters of small white and pink flowers that appear between June and December in the species native range.〔 〕 The species was first formally described in 1858 by Victorian Government Botanist Ferdinand von Mueller in ''Fragmenta Phytographiae Australiae''. He named it ''Genetyllis micropetala''. The species was transferred to the genus ''Darwinia'' by English botanist George Bentham in 1865.〔 It occurs in south-eastern South Australia and western Victoria.〔〔 ==References==
